Carriage & Delivery
Optical Hardware Ltd owns and operates a number of brands and businesses and these may offer carriage and delivery terms
applicable to its individual style of business, details will be shown on the trade side of our website.
Most of our businesses, however, use central packing and despatch in which case our common carriage terms will apply,
and if the individual brand or business price list does not separately detail carriage then this is the case.
The full details of our common carriage terms are shown below but in general, orders over £ 150 net are shipped to UK addresses
FREE of CHARGE and we can deliver to most UK mainland addresses on the next working day so long as your order is in early enough in the
day for us to pick and pack the order.
We can also drop-ship an order directly to your customer, and do this under plain packaging so that your customer sees it as coming from you. We can also include any paperwork you may wish to provide.
Notes :
- Free carriage, or the applicable carriage charge, applies to the value of an order being shipped together to a single destination.
So, for example, if you place an order for some goods to be shipped to your main address, some goods to a branch and an item to be
drop-shipped directly to your customer, then these are dealt with as three separate orders, with the applicable carriage rate
(or carriage free) applied to each order according to its value and destination.
- We frequently update our stock levels on the trade side of our website (stock levels are shown in our trade price list). If goods are out of stock at the time of ordering they can be back-ordered but are not included in the total net order value towards free carriage or in determining which trade price level you pay. If this situation arises, we will inform you and offer you the opportunity to choose items to make up the order value.
- We try to pick pack and despatch on the same day, however, we deal with all orders strictly in the time order received. On busy days
we may not be able to process all orders received that day before our carrier collects the day’s parcels. Late orders may not get out
that day so please order as early as possible.
Delivery times are not given as definite but only as indicated by our carriers.

Minimum Order Value is total cost after all discounts and before VAT.
All rates exclude VAT and are correct at time of publication. Optical Hardware Ltd reserve the right to revise rates at any time, without notice. All orders and supplies subject to Optical Hardware Ltd terms of trading.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Carriage charges are based on delivery to the normal business address(es) detailed on the account. We reserve the right to make a supplementary charge where delivery is requested to a different address to cover additional administrative costs, however, in most situations we are happy to drop-ship direct to your customers at no extra charge. You must, however, be aware that we cannot be liable for any delays or losses caused by the recipient not being available to take delivery of the parcel.

below. Individual business or brands may implement these terms with slight variations and these will be stated on the individual brand or business price list or catalogue. Placing an order and accepting goods is deemed to be your acceptance of both the common terms stated below and any additional terms of the individual business or brand.
If you have applied for and been granted, an account with Optical Hardware Ltd. then this can be used with any brand or business owned or operated by Optical Hardware Ltd though, please be aware that payment terms may differ within different businesses.
